Florent Nisse Double Bass, Composition Marie Krüttli Piano Federico Casagrande Guitar Jeremy Viner Tenor Saxophone The French double bassist Florent Nisse rarely appears as a bandleader. Without drums, his four instruments create an open, chamber-music space filled with silence. The title is a homage to Mágico, the groundbreaking album by Haden, Garbarek, and Gismonti (ECM, 1980). Afterwards: Rolando Luna Piano Yaroldy Abreu Percussion Carlos Sarduy Trumpet Having been a longtime accompanist of the legendary Omara Portuondo, Rolando Luna has made a name for himself in Europe.
