Andreas Herrmann - Piano Anne Czichowsky, born in 1981 in Schaffhausen (CH), studied jazz vocals at the music colleges in Stuttgart and Graz. Since then, she has established herself as a soloist and bandleader in various jazz projects and has won several international jazz awards – including the renowned "Landesjazzpreis Baden-Württemberg," which she received as the first singer in the history of this award. She can be considered a "keeper of the flame" with her preference for Straight Ahead Jazz, Bebop, and scat singing, which is now rather rare. Her lyrics for influential instrumental pieces and solos from these eras also attract international attention. Since 2008, she has released several albums as a bandleader – including with her "Anne Czichowsky Quintet" and with "Lines for Ladies," a project in which she collaborated with co-bandleader Sabine Kühlich, jazz legend Sheila Jordan, and Kristin Korb.
