Description

The band "Jazz GmbH" was founded in 1991 and initially focused on traditional jazz. However, after some changes in the lineup, the group decided to expand its musical repertoire and embrace more modern styles of jazz. For their 35th anniversary, the band is fulfilling a long-held wish: with the project "A Jazz Symphony on the Road," Jazz GmbH presents a program exclusively featuring original compositions for the first time. At the same time, the album of the same name will be released in November 2026, followed by a tour starting in January 2027. The unique and touching compositions come from the pen of Alex Rüedi. The result is a musical work full of atmosphere, dynamics, and emotions – a journey through sound worlds between jazz, symphonic sounds, and modern musical influences. Powerful brass sections, lyrical passages, and the warm timbre of a string quartet merge into an impressive overall experience. "A Jazz Symphony on the Road" represents musical passion, joy of playing, and the artistic development of a band that has been following its own path for decades.
