Description
«Wintergarten» is a walk-in outdoor installation between the garden and museum entrance. Coinciding with the opening of the exhibition «Neubenennen – Menschen, Dinge, Orte», «Wintergarten» invites visitors to question practices of naming and categorizing in the museum, as well as established forms of viewing and knowledge production. Pre-opening on September 3, 2026, at 6 PM. Part of the Design Weeks Zurich. A collaboration between artists Hanna Holzner and Fukai Stijve with the Ethnographic Museum UZH and Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK.
