Description

With the expansion of Berlin's city motorway BAB 100, future subway constructions have already been established at key intersections. At Innsbrucker Platz, the planners laid the motorway in a short tunnel section underground to cross one of the important railway lines. During this, a future subway station was created even beneath the motorway tunnel, impressive in length and with, by Berlin standards, great depth. Additionally, this tour includes access to a subway tunnel from the 1910s — a forgotten tunnel beneath a residential area. This guided tour lasts approximately 2 - 2.5 hours.
