Description

Success stories shape the way we speak and think: no sentence and no interest, no look, no gesture, and no feeling are not scrutinized. How can these narratives be rewritten, or their meaning taken away? With the help of lost words, strained jokes, cinematic hyperrealities, and musical melancholy, three performers try to break out and contradict the idea of 'successful biographies.' IN:KON:SIS:TEN:ZEN operates at the edges of banality and post-splatter, using the aesthetics of rupture. But, and this is the dilemma, one must also be able to do that again. Through contradictions, sentences hanging in the air, and contemplative exhaustion, this evening approaches living being despite success and expectation pressure and explores the open. A play of failure that neither wants to win nor lose. Malte Schlösser and his team try to escape the constraints of success society, functioning, and omnipresent expectations. The theater evening does not aim to succeed but aims to succeed, to establish new connections, and to celebrate the moment of coming together.
