Description

Success stories shape the way we speak and think: no sentence and no interest, no look, no gesture, and no feeling are not scrutinized. How can these stories be rewritten, or their meaning taken away? With the help of lost words, strained jokes, cinematic hyperrealities, and musical melancholy, three performers attempt to break out and contradict the idea of "successful biographies." IN:KON:SIS:TEN:ZEN operates at the edges of banality and post-splatter, using the aesthetics of rupture. But, and this is the dilemma, one must also be able to do this again. Through contradictions, hanging sentences, and contemplative exhaustion, this evening approaches living existence despite pressure to succeed and expectations, exploring the open. A play of failure that neither wants to win nor lose. Malte Schlösser and his team try to escape the constraints of success society, functionality, and omnipresent expectations. The theater evening does not aim to succeed but aims to succeed, to establish new connections, and to celebrate the moment of coming together.
