Description
Zurich, 1920: The city saints Felix, Regula, and Exuperantius have risen from their tomb beneath the Grossmünster and are walking with their heads under their arms through the suburb of Albisrieden. Clearly a case for private detective Josephine Wyss – and author Miriam Veya. Josephine Wyss, despite a lull in assignments, is not very enthusiastic about the new case. She neither believes in supernatural apparitions nor in the legend of the three martyrs. She considers it all to be a silly prank by the children of the impoverished worker family Meier, whose eldest daughter Hanna claimed to have seen the saints. However, Josephine Wyss changes her mind when Hanna disappears without a trace – and she even encounters the city saints herself. Miriam Veya, awarded the Zurich Crime Prize for 'Shadow over Villa Patumbah', signs her latest book after the reading at Belcafé. © Image: Sarah Ley, leyfotografie.com Participants and additional information: Miriam Veya
