Description
I'm Home, Honey! How shamefully happy can a marriage be? Judy and Johnny live in an idyllic marriage. She – a perfect woman in every way, keeping a perfectly tidy home, preparing divine dinners every day, and welcoming her husband with a well-crafted drink and warmed slippers. He – the breadwinner. A traditional household setup in the backdrop of the 1950s. Except it’s the year 2022. The washing machine and refrigerator are seventy years old and constantly breaking down. It gradually becomes clear that being a domestic goddess from the old days is not as easy as it seems. This play by contemporary British author Laura Wade, adorned with numerous nominations and the prestigious Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy of 2019, is performed not only at the National Theatre in London and the West End but also on Broadway and in significant theaters around the world. In the lead roles, you will see the real-life married couple Zuzana Kajnarová and Roman Říčař. And the fact that the role of Judy is destined for Zuzka is proven by the fact that it was played in London by the actress who portrayed Jen in The IT Crowd – just like here!Highlights
