Annina Michel is a historian and, as the director of the Bundesbriefmuseum Schwyz, an expert on the history of the Old Swiss Confederacy and the significance of myths for Switzerland's national identity. Together with Carmen Stirnimann (director of the Nidwaldner Museum), she explores in the Winkelriedhaus, using well-known figures like Tell or Winkelried, the question of when history becomes a story – and what effect such myths have. Take a look beyond the horizon with us! On dialogical tours through our permanent and special exhibitions, we address interdisciplinary questions on selected topics and objects with experts. The tours take place on Wednesday evenings; they start at 6:30 p.m. and last about 60 minutes.
