Pilgrimage with Rainer Maria Rilke through Switzerland on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of his death.
Winterthur is a key location for Rilke's last major work. Here, the crucial contacts with the Reinhart brothers, especially with his great patron Werner Reinhart, began. On November 28, 1919, Rilke, coming from Soglio in the Bergell, gave a lecture at the invitation of the Literary Association; first visits already took place on November 8 at the Casino Theater as well as in Rychenberg and in Tössertobel. In the winter of 1920/21, Rilke also spent a winter at Schloss Berg am Irchel, where among other things, Mitsou and the poetry series "From the Estate of Count C. W." were created. Program: Saturday, October 3 (Aperitif and introduction at the Volkart House, walk through Stadtgarten, Villa Bühler Park, and Rychenberg Park with Poetry Slam by lauschig and readings, guided tour of Villa Rychenberg, visit to Villa Tössertobel, concert "To Music 2" at the Art Museum, and in the evening chamber concert at the Music Conservatory with works including those by Alma Mahler, Alban Berg, Hindemith, and a premiere by Mario Pagliarani). Sunday, October 4 (tour in Flaach with readings and Morton Feldman's "Only", walk through Eigental to Berg am Irchel, reception at the Chloster Foundation with Viktor Ullmann's "The Way of Love and Death of Cornet Christoph Rilke").
