Text, music: Melanie Haupt Duration: approx. 2 hours (including a break after approx. 55 minutes) The guest performance premiere was on 05.11.2025, 7:30 PM, THEATER IM PALAIS Berlin Communication in times of fake news and lack of willingness to discuss: A topic that often leaves you speechless. But exactly on this sensitive topic, the well-known successful duo Melanie Haupt / Judith Jakob, who have found a new artistic home with us, together with jazz musician Jonathan Bratoëff in his new stage program, dares to address it. Every communication is unique, not for nothing is the word embedded in "Komm-UNIKAT-ion"! It can enlighten and intoxicate, hurt and connect; all too often, it is also ambivalent. And what if you run out of words? Then only one thing helps: singing! Does the unemployed children's book author Brigitte see it the same way when she accepts a job offer from the Black and White House? The assignment: A strange event, which has long gone viral thanks to Googlehupf, FinstaKram, and their algorithms, should be explained as simply and plausibly as possible so that the population doesn't go crazy. Will Brigitte manage to find the right words? And is there such a thing as the "right words" at all? Additional information:
