ICH BIN BULGARE?! - A Rapid Musical Examination of the Concept of 'Home'

Description

Does Romnja manage to become a superstar in Vienna?
How is it that the intellectual only discovers pride in the old 'home' in Austria?
What do the so-called 'roots' have to do with the second or even third generation?
And how is the narrator, who jumps between worlds before finally arriving in Berlin? Actress Vidina Popov weaves interviews, documentaries, and encounters into a rapid-musical-360-degree investigation of the concept of 'home': questioning its loss, the associated clichés, and experiences in a new space.
With sharp humor, she shows how deceptive assumptions about others and oneself can be, and exposes common mechanisms.
A one-woman show blending theater and stand-up. With live music and lots of Balkan soul. Hoppa!
