IC FALKENBERG sings songs by IC FALKENBERG – acoustic

Description

IC FALKENBERG performs and sings his current program
in the minimalist acoustic version, accompanied only by piano and guitar
IC FALKENBERG sings his new songs and his hits like "Dein Herz", "Mann im Mond", "Eine Nacht", and "Wunderland" but also songs that have been missing from his concerts for a long time. Of course, many of the songs have exciting and amusing stories that need to be told. IC FALKENBERG has been on stage since he was ten years old. In the eighties, he was the singer, composer, and lyricist of Stern Meissen.
He helped the band with his hits to the most successful phase of their history. At the same time, in the mid-80s, under the stage name IC FALKENBERG, he became one of the most successful and popular solo artists in East Germany, selling over 250,000 copies of each of his first two solo albums during this time. Over 50 years of stage presence and 29 albums speak for themselves, as does the musical diversity of FALKENBERG. IC FALKENBERG looks back on a life in which rebellion and self-assertion have always been the driving forces. And on a career – as exciting and full of twists as world history. Unfazed by the rules of the music business, IC Falkenberg delivers multi-layered, atmospherically dense compositions with very clever lyrics, so abstract and associative that hardly any German singer writes like that.
The concerts of IC FALKENBERG are non-repeatable moments, their open-hearted intimacy and touching melancholy are woven through with humorous stories. Despite his demanding topics, he remains in an unobtrusive lightness. He masters the balance, sounds sensitive but never sentimental. More info and audio samples: http://www.icfalkenberg.de
