Come along on the tour through the extraordinary Villa Patumbah and listen to stories. Stories of lucky dragons and tobacco fields, demolition plans, and the Wurstecke. Stories told by people who connect very personal experiences with the villa. In eight stations, located in the garden floor, ground floor, and park, you will learn why the house appears so "un-Zurich-like," why the restoration was more elaborate than expected, and how the villa is viewed today as a testament to colonial practices. Note: For the best listening experience, enjoy it on your smartphone with headphones. The start is at the reception, and the eighth and final station leads through the park and ends in front of the villa. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. Languages: German and English.
