Hommage à Christian Aebi

The Kunsthaus honors the Langenthal self-taught musician and painter Christian Aebi, who passed away in 2021, with a selection of his “Bänzen” and materials related to his music, some of which were created in the attic apartment of the Kunsthaus. A concert evening takes place in the Chrämerhuus, and sound and video documents from the 1990s can be experienced in the CRMI. The occasion is the release of a compilation with Aebi's music on the Australian label Efficient Space. Concept: Alain Aebi, Domi Chansorn, Ivan Liechti, Rudolf Steiner. Opening of the exhibition at the Kunsthaus with an introductory talk with participants at 4:00 p.m. Followed by a concert at the Chrämerhuus Langenthal, doors open at 5:00 p.m., concert at 6:30 p.m., as well as a video projection in the CRMI gallery.
