The exciting tour takes you through different passages of the cave system, which the first Hölloch researchers discovered more than a hundred years ago with nail shoes and candle lanterns. It is a small expedition, meaning you won't always be able to walk upright, but there are areas where you will need to climb, crawl, ascend or descend a ladder, or squeeze through narrower sections. But don’t worry, it won't be too tight, and the tour is manageable with normal fitness.

Arrival: By car: Parking at the Hölloch rest area, Stalden 15, 6436 Muotathal. By public transport: Take the train to Schwyz, then bus no. 1 to the stop “Hölloch, Muotathal”.

What to bring: Warm socks. Extra old, sturdy clothes (jeans, sweater, fur jacket); alternatively, a cave overall can be rented on site for CHF 25.00.
