Description
"I like to experience theater with the simplicity of a human exchange. A common need for everyone to overturn some rules for a short time." (Rugiada Grignani) At the center of HISTORIETA DE UN ABRAZO ("The Story of a Hug") is a couple. The wordless puppet theater poignantly navigates the complexity of love relationships, allowing the audience to directly experience tenderness, tragedy, and the inadequacy of being human. Rugiada Grignani and Facundo Moreno uniquely bring to life an imaginary world full of dreams and secrets with their objects, figures, shadows, and music in a quiet manner. Their carefully composed productions combine figure and object theater into poetic snapshots that tell of the power of creativity with fine sensitivity and a touch of irony. A production by the Italian Compagnia Dromosofista. Awarded at the International Puppet Theater Festival in Ghent and at the FIL – Festival Internacional de Intercâmbio de Linguagens in Rio de Janeiro. Suitable for ages 5 and up, no spoken language.
