The works focus on situations in which beings try to assert themselves. They delve into everyday actions and seemingly insignificant gestures that gradually shape the situations they find themselves in. They adapt and quietly continue, often without noticing the effects of their actions. Change creeps in silently and quietly. The figures are neither victims nor heroes. They remain still. They rarely resist. Without any drama, they remain part of the systems to which they have contributed – even after these systems have outgrown them and begin to turn against them.
