A fascinating journey through movement theater and interpersonal communication. The performance Hey, Earth! invites you on a journey into a world where movement theater, new circus, and visual art blend together. You will find yourself in an environment full of rituals, fantasy, and the search for understanding, where every movement and object on stage has its significance. This experimental project by Cirk La Putyka and director Thomas Steyaert intentionally steps outside the audience's expectations. It explores the boundaries of human communication and creates tension not only through acrobatic performances but also through minimalism, silence, and static images. The stage is filled with objects that performers use to build and deconstruct the world around them, opening up space for imagination. Unlike traditional circus, one act does not follow another. The circus appears and disappears, helping to create unique emotions. The performance connects to earlier projects by Cirk La Putyka, such as Black Black Woods or Hit, Tell the Difference. Hey, Earth! offers not only a visual experience but also deep reflection on human values and relationships in a time full of conflict and uncertainty. The atmosphere is enhanced by the music of Jan Balcar and Veronika Linhartová. Come experiment with us and discover a world where every detail tells a different story. The performance lasts 70 minutes, suitable for ages 10 and up, partially in Czech, partially in English. The performance features sudden strobe lights and loud music at several points. If you are sensitive to these stimuli, please be cautious and consider attending other performances. Entry to the auditorium will not be allowed after the performance begins. An INDUSTRA theater bar will be open one hour before the start and will remain open after the performance depending on visitor interest.
