Herbsttrilogie klang Grandhotel Giessbach - Ach Luise!

Description

A feast for all the senses in the magnificent and historic Grandhotel Giessbach 1875, overlooking Lake Brienz – with accommodation, hearty breakfast, and a refined three-course menu. This program evokes 1920s Berlin through nostalgic classics and German songs – centered around the singer and cabaret artist Max Hansen (the first maître d’hôtel Leopold in Benatzky's 'The Little White Horse of Lake Wolfgang'), unfortunately fallen into obscurity – and immerses its audience in a bygone world. Testimonial from P. Ruthishauser, Zurich: 'The program was truly in the spirit of cabaret, we laughed a lot! The spoken interludes and the lyrics of the songs are ironic and often very ambiguous, we had a great time.' The program includes: Fritz Rotter/Ralph Ewrin 'Ich küsse ihre Hand Madame', Ralph Benatzky 'Ach, Luise!', Fritz Kreisler 'Liebeslied', Oscar Strauss 'Eine weiche Frauenhand', Vittorio Monti 'Czardas', and many more – a joyful and entertaining evening. Subject to program changes. The Musenkuss-Kabinett features:
Samuel Zünd – vocals and hosting
Nina Ulli – violin
Edward Rushton – piano. www.museknuss-kabinett.ch
