Salon & Sehnsucht with Ina Callejas

Description

A historic salon, a waltz, a fairy tale, a touch of Paris, and finally, the tango: in this solo program, the elegance of the Belle Époque, poetic pieces, film music, and passionate tango rhythms come together. From the dazzling sounds of Johann Strauss's waltz, through Mozart's delicate adagio, to Humperdinck's fairy tale images, the musical journey takes us through the charm of French musette and the great emotions of film music, to the sound worlds of Piazzolla and Galliano. Throughout, the accordion is showcased repeatedly from different perspectives:
as a refined salon instrument, as an orchestra, as a storyteller, and finally, as a virtuoso dance partner. A concert between elegance and passion, between the familiar and the surprising, full of stories, images, and nostalgia. Start: 17:00 h. - Maximum duration: 60 minutes without a break.
The concert will take place in the Salón Davinet.
