Hebel, wer? - Kannitverstan - Calendar Stories by Johann Peter Hebel

Description

14th Karlsruhe Literature Days: An evening with Hebel for the city of Karlsruhe Hebel, wer? - Kannitverstan
Calendar stories by Johann Peter Hebel Students become Hebel's characters. They are clever people, they beg and trade, shave with a steady hand, and sometimes prepare lunch outdoors – here, the clever and smart win, not the evil and strong! The barber boy wants to buy "a Schnepper." The gentleman "ate like a reaper," someone should "use the halter," needed "a few Batzen," but only got "a six-kreuzer" and no "two Louisdor." Clearly a case of "KANNITVERSTAN"! A scenic interpretation by the 7th grade of Bismarck-Gymnasium and the 11th-grade literature course under the direction of Paraskevi Shea. Welcome: Erik Rastetter, Artistic Director of SANDKORN.
Postscript and audience discussion led by Prof. Jan Knopf. A cooperation of the Literary Society and Bismarck-Gymnasium Karlsruhe with SANDKORN.
