When Hans-Peter Ruosch sits at the piano, no chair stays still for long. Since 1985, he has been performing as "Hamp Goes Wild," with a repertoire ranging from Boogie-Woogie, Piano Blues, to classic Rock'n'Roll. Five CDs, countless performances from the Fera to the Boogie-Woogie Festival in Laroquebrou, France, and an evening in July 1992 when he stepped in at short notice in Wettingen for the ill Jerry Lee Lewis. At Villa Wellentanz, he plays solo: ten fingers, one voice, one grand piano. Exactly the setup where you can hear how much power a single piano can develop when the left hand takes the bass and the right hand does the rest.
