Description

Immerse yourself in the silence of a remote mountain valley at the foot of the Wildhuser Schofberg. Away from the hustle and bustle of winter sports areas, you will hike with snowshoes over snowy alpine meadows and through a fascinating winter landscape. The ascent is rewarded with impressive panoramic views of the surrounding mountains of the Toggenburg holiday region. After a nourishing lunch break, you will enjoy the varied descent back into the valley. Depending on snow and weather conditions, the tour will take different routes through the winter mountain world. Guided by a hiking leader with a Swiss federal certificate.
On the way, hot drink and some sweets.
Rental equipment: snowshoes and poles (optional).

Program: 09:30 am meeting point in Wildhaus, short drive in carpools to the starting point.
Half-day snowshoe hike.
Tour ends around 2:30 pm.
Prerequisites: easy to moderate snowshoe hike, short steeper sections.
Condition for hiking time up to 3.5 hours, ascent and descent up to 400 meters each.
Conditions: registration deadline 2 days before the event.
Minimum of 4 participants required.
The route will be adjusted according to snow conditions.
