Guided snowshoe hike across alpine meadows at 1,998 m above sea level on the Gulmen or through hilly terrain into the Frümseltal. Hike through the snowy Toggenburg and enjoy beautiful views. Tour Wildhuser Gulme - Meeting point Wildhaus Sunday, January 31, 2027 with Chatzegrabe-Tours Sunday, February 14, 2027 with Wanderma. ch At the mountain station Gamplüt 1,352 m above sea level, put on your snowshoes and start towards Alp Fros. At the foot of the mighty Schofberg wall, you reach the quiet Teseltal. Now it gets steeper. The ascent initially takes you through a mountain forest. From the Gulmen hut, you draw your track over snowy alpine meadows and the elongated mountain ridge further upward towards Gulmen 1,998 m above sea level. The view over the Rhine Valley towards Austria, Liechtenstein, and into Toggenburg is fantastic. Across the high plateau below the Churfirsten, you hike through the quiet, hilly terrain. The ascent into Frümseltal between Brisi and Frümsel becomes steeper and more alpine. Arriving at the highest point at 2,035 m above sea level, you are rewarded with an impressive view of Lake Walen, the vertical rock faces of the Churfirsten, and the surrounding mountain world of the Toggenburg holiday region and the Glarus Alps.
