The 2026/27 concert season under the title "Greifensee sounds" for the 60th anniversary of the Greifensee Art Society presents itself as a multifaceted journey through the world of chamber music. At the center are musicians with roots in the region as well as celebrated performers who have previously thrilled audiences and are now welcome to return. GOYA QUARTET
SYLVIA HUANG, VIOLIN HANI SONG, VIOLIN SAEKO OGUMA, VIOLA HONORINE SCHAEFFER, CELLO The GoYa Quartet was founded in 2014 by musicians of the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest Amsterdam. The close connection to orchestral playing still shapes the warm, colorful sound of the ensemble today. While Hani Song (who grew up in Zurich and whose parents live in Nänikon), Saeko Oguma, and Honorine Schaeffer are still members of the Concertgebouworkest, violinist Sylvia Huang has been concertmaster of the orchestra of the La Monnaie Opera in Brussels since 2022. The GoYa Quartet is one of the most promising young string quartets of its generation. The four musicians share a common passion for the great quartet literature as well as the ambition to interpret well-known works with a fresh perspective and sonic depth.
