«Glühwürmchen»

Description

Book launch. Reading and discussion with Stefan Ineichen as part of Zürich liest. Fireflies are indicators of high biodiversity and low light pollution. But the luminous beetles are surrounded by much more than their glowing light – stories and legends from different cultures revolve around these fascinating animals. In conversation with Dagny Gioulami, Stefan Ineichen offers a multifaceted view of the world of fireflies and makes it clear that the disappearance of fireflies means not only a loss for landscapes and ecosystems but also for the mind and heart. Tickets are available at the venue and at the box office.
