After centuries of artistic insignificance in the field of stained glass painting, Paul Lütz and Carl Elmpt opened a manufactory in Konstanz at the end of the 19th century. Art historian Dr. Bernd Konrad has researched the history of the company. For nearly 50 years, it was to produce high-quality ecclesiastical and secular colored glass.
