In the acclaimed theater production "The Things of My Parents," Gilla Cremer guided us through the liquidation of her parents' household. With subtle humor, her protagonist Agnes brought the exhausting project "dying beautifully" to the stage. Now, Agnes faces a new challenge: the usage rights for the family grave have expired. Do the sisters want to extend the lease? Dissolve the parents' grave? Where do they want to be buried themselves someday? The sober question from the cemetery office awakens memories: Has death not always played a major role in Agnes's life? Sometimes playfully and stage-worthy, sometimes frightening and shocking, sometimes as relief, sometimes as a political issue.
