Gesualda Cannizzo: Reflections | Spiegelungen

In her exhibition, the artist Gesualda Cannizzo mainly displays abstract paintings in which she explores the impressive play of colors in nature. In this series, she primarily combines reflections with natural motifs: through bold colors and targeted application of paint, surfaces are created where various elements of nature dissolve and reappear. In her images, she creates virtual spaces and inner landscapes – colorful impressions, dynamic, thoughtfully composed, and open to associations. An invitation to experience the poetic play of colors in nature anew: lively and inviting for lingering. Besides painting, the Winterthur-based artist is also a bilingual author and was awarded the main prize at Bellinzona last year for her short prose. The exhibition runs until September 28.
