Support Group for Caregivers of People with Dementia

Description

Sharing stories, listening, supporting each other. Many caregivers are very reserved when it comes to addressing the changed, stressful life situation in their environment. Being able to share experiences during the meetings is relieving and encourages the implementation of new solutions. The support groups take place in an atmosphere of solidarity, mutual respect, and discretion. Each member decides for themselves how much they want to disclose about their situation.

Target group: Caregivers/relatives of people with dementia

Cost per meeting: Participation in the support groups is free of charge.

General Information

The support groups take place in Kreuzlingen at Alzheimer Thurgau and offer caregivers the opportunity to exchange ideas in a confidential atmosphere. The goal is to reduce the burden of care and promote mutual support. Trial visits are welcome, registration is required.
