Description
Cheerful works from 100 years of German language art. Dark, but cheerful – Carsten Dittrich and Konstantin Schmidt present a "Best Of" of German-language song and literary literature. An evening with Georg Kreisler and other deceased.
The Georg Kreisler from Vienna is legendary. In his songs, he raved about his love for the girl with the three blue eyes. He stated: Oh, how beautiful Vienna would be without Viennese. And he amazed with the possession of a Bluntschli. While Konstantin Schmidt, virtuously and selflessly, deals with Mr. Kreisler, Carsten Dittrich digs into the depths of literature and encounters Karl Valentin, Kurt Tucholsky, Erich Kästner, and many, many more. He plays, reads, and sings. Whether you want to or not! And so, the renewed collaboration of the two artists becomes an evening of songs and texts about things that existed, that exist, and that could exist if we were allowed to do as we please…
