Movement class for professional dancers and advanced dance students ages 16+ Gaga is the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin over many years alongside his work as a choreographer and former artistic director of the Batsheva Dance Company. Gaga/dancers deepens dancers' awareness of physical sensations, expands their range of available movement options, improves their ability to control their energy and use their explosive power, and enriches their movement quality through a wide range of textures. The classes are based on the same principles as regular Gaga classes but additionally utilize the specific vocabulary and skills that are inseparable from a dancer's knowledge. The overlay of familiar skills with Gaga tasks presents new challenges to the dancers, and throughout the course, the teachers encourage the dancers to explore less familiar areas and movement styles, thus unlocking the infinity of possibilities. Dancers are guided to connect their effort with joy and discover the value of silliness. Level: Advanced Masterclass

Participation fee: 20 to 35 Euros depending on personal resources
Clothing for the class: Barefoot or socks. Comfortable clothing. No spectators allowed. Only participants may be in the studio.
Latecomers are not permitted. Once the class has started, the door should be closed and no one else may enter.
