Forever Gone

Description

A brass band guides the audience through the rooms of an abandoned apartment. They follow the traces of a missing person. Curious beings cross the hallways searching for lost hearts or legs. Until the community finally gathers in the large hall and now speaks for itself. Theater Blau, Theater Sgaramusch, and guests address the theme of loss together. Everyone experiences small and large losses repeatedly, and dealing with them is a lifelong presence. There are not only the losses of loved ones but many others that leave their traces in all our lives, sometimes quite concretely on the wall of the apartment as a dusty edge of a hung picture or very personally in all our lives, hearts, and bodies. "Forever Gone" deals with this topic in a variety of theatrical ways, using imagination and love to explore how to cope with loss.
