Or were you a male victim? Iris Kristeová, Renata Kalenská, and Jiří Kylar have gone through the worst possible experiences in the realm of sexualized violence. But it did not break them. They want to talk to you about their journey from hell, about working with post-traumatic stress disorder, and about how the light at the end of the tunnel can take various forms, as part of their theatrically styled discussion. And not just talk. You will also experience a piece of the theatrical performance Iris with them and will be able to ask about what interests or troubles you. Iris, Renata, and Jiří want to show you that they are not the ones who should hide their experienced trauma. They have done nothing wrong. Iris Kristeová is an actress who processed her own difficult childhood experiences in the solo performance Iris, which won the Theater Critics' Award and a nomination for the Thalia Award. Renata Kalenská is a journalist who wrote a book about sexualized violence titled Frozen Souls, about seven women and three men who went through hell and found their way out. One of the stories is Renata's. The book received a broader nomination for Documentary Book of the Year at the Ji. hlava International Documentary Film Festival. Jiří Kylar is an entrepreneur who experienced sexual abuse by a Catholic priest as a child, founded the organization Someone Will Believe You, and today helps victims of the church. Recently, Jiří Kylar and Prague Archbishop Stanislav Přibyl signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Czech Bishops' Conference and the organization Someone Will Believe You.
