Frog in Space - Music Cabaret with 1. FC Heidelberg

Description

Conductor: Henriette Basler For his new program, 1. FC Heidelberg has become the researchers' club, so to speak, the 1. FC-FC. Stylishly, they research in the POA (Pink OverAll), exploring what the test tube offers. And far beyond. How far, even 1. FC-FC itself was surprised. One question follows another, accompanied by highlights from the incredible universe of musical possibilities. Once the curiosity has been satisfied, the inner frog has been overcome, and the body has been prepared for adventure, there is nothing that can stop 1. FC-FC! The audience can look forward to an entertaining, enjoyable, and witty evening. And perhaps at the end, we will find the answer to the question of why the universe cannot fulfill all wishes...? Originally formed in 1989 as a small vocal ensemble for a theater piece under the musical direction of Bernhard Bentges, the "1. FC Heidelberg" is not a football club but an A-Capella comedy ensemble that has delighted audiences on various stages in southern Germany with its diverse programs. In 2024, 1. FC Heidelberg was part of the Emmertsgrunder Kultursommer. With their new program "Frog in Space" (premiere in mid-May 2026 at the Heidelberg Theater), the ladies are now on the mountain for the second time and on stage at Augustinum for the first time—and are looking forward to old and new fans here as well!
