For 35 years, Constanze Friend and Thomas Fellow have been successfully performing together on stage. The duo was founded in 1991, although both artists met in the 1980s. The early days of Friend N Fellow were influenced by various music legends such as Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, and Luther Allison, whose tours they supported as opening acts. They still consider Allison one of their most important sources of inspiration today. Friend N Fellow captivate their audience with a refreshing genre mix: whether jazz, blues, funk, soul, pop, or country; they are not afraid to fuse different musical styles and have many surprises in store on their setlist. Yet, Constanze Friend and Thomas Fellow remain true to their signature style, whether through the unique fusion of voice and guitar, touching songwriting, or original cover interpretations. When Friend N Fellow perform, an atmosphere full of warmth and soul is created on and in front of the stage. At the same time, their passionate live performances are a real fireworks display of joy of playing, captivating their audience. With this energy, they regularly fill jazz clubs, concert halls, and open-air venues across Germany and internationally. So far, Friend N Fellow have released 13 albums. Now, 2026 will mark the start of a new era. The 35th anniversary of the duo will be celebrated with a third cover CD from October 2026. One can look forward to this album and the associated tour with great anticipation.
