Description
Satire can do anything. Except die! "When satire dies, humans have only four years left to live," said Albert Einstein with a coffee in his hand to his cat. "But if – freely inspired by Tucholsky – satire is allowed everything," purred the cat, "then it is also allowed to die." "I will prevent that, as surely as I am the holder of the German Small Art Prize," shouted Friedemann Weise, who dreamed of this scene on a regional express on his way to a gig in Dingsbums. Finally, he knew what his fifth solo program should be called: Searching for a Home for Satire. An awkward pun – just good enough not to stand out in the local small art scene, but mainly bad enough to make Friedemann Weise smile. The Cologne author, satirist, and music comedian is now set to show in two times 50 minutes why it is worth living. No matter how difficult this endeavor may be, he will succeed with his guitar, a screen, and his human mini-clone Friedemännchen. And you may watch him! Photo: Marvin Ruppert
