Freischwimmer Anniversary Concert with Joo Kraus and Paula Morelenbaum (Brazil) and Ralf Schmid

Description

With Levitar, the Bossarenova Trio opens a new chapter: After two albums with reinterpretations of Brazilian classics, Paula Morelenbaum, Joo Kraus, and Ralf Schmid are presenting exclusively original compositions for the first time. Created between highways, home studios, Rio de Janeiro, and Lisbon, the songs combine Brazilian lightness with European sound aesthetics. Gentle trumpet lines, Paula Morelenbaum's characteristic voice, virtuosic piano playing, and surprisingly groovy rhythms merge into a music style between Bossa Nova, jazz, and contemporary sound colors. An album full of sun, openness, movement, and ease. Participating artists: Paula Morelenbaum (vocals), Joo Kraus (saxophone/trumpet), and Ralf Schmid (Fender Rhodes)
