Decades after Fred Wesley made history as one of the architects of funk alongside James Brown and George Clinton, he now opens a new chapter that connects him with his jazz roots and an exciting future: Generations. Generations is a versatile trio featuring Fred Wesley on trombone, Leonardo Corradi on organ, and French drummer Tony Match. Originally, the three musicians came together to pay tribute to the soulful jazz of the legendary organist Jimmy Smith – creating a musical chemistry that keeps them grooving together to this day.
