The world-famous "Flohzirkus Orquestra" is a three-member children's song band from the western Enzkreis between Pforzheim and Karlsruhe, which has been developing a repertoire of songs with classical acoustic instruments such as guitar, mandolin, melodica, accordion, and drums since January 2012. Music and lyrics are exclusively original compositions.
The "Flohzirkus Orquestra" is known for its colorful and atmospheric mix of reggae, ska, chanson, and folk elements. The show takes its audience into the worlds of the circus, sailors, animals, and other exciting topics.
How can it be that a brave helmsman is afraid of water? A pirate treasure is to be found, an ant would like to be a millipede, and then the phone rings right in the middle of the performance. And why does a black cat invite to joint cat music...? Questions upon questions, which the band answers together with the children in a playful-musical way.
The program is framed by clownish show acts, magic tricks, and participatory activities, which rarely leave the little and big spectators' eyes dry. The three-member "orchestra" manages to repeatedly captivate the attention of the visitors until the end and leaves them a bit more courageous at the end of the show.
