Black Forest Jazz Festival 2026 - REAL / ZITT / KLÖFFER

Description

Justin Zitt, Aitziber Cofre Real and Nico Klöffer met in 2022 as part of the excellence ensemble "Gutenberg Jazz Collective" in Mainz. There, they worked intensively on music for a year together with jazz greats like Billy Hart, Ingrid Jensen, Kris Davis, Becca Stevens, and Ben Street. What resulted from this is a deep connection and a shared musical vision. The group impresses with their natural harmony and excites with bold and virtuosic improvisations. Lively interaction is framed within the sensitive chamber music setting - piano, bass, and voice. For the concert at Löwensaal (Black Forest Jazz Festival), the three have put together a program of their own compositions and favorite jazz standards, whose fresh interpretation presents these old pieces in a completely new light. Aitzi Cofre Real - vocals
Justin Zitt - piano
Nico Klöffer - bass Additional information:
Löwensaal opens one hour before the event begins.
