Julia and Thomas are amicably ending their relationship. After years of shared days, it’s clear: the marriage no longer works. Separate ways, friendly, factual, adult. Only: neither wants to be alone. And because you want to support each other and a little security doesn’t hurt, they set up their blind dates at the same restaurant at the same time. Table to table, they have full view of each other’s surprises: Julia’s self-absorbed counterpart, Thomas’s unexpectedly candid date with an unasked-for desire for children. The evening spirals out of control just as planned, as do the subsequent attempts: dating apps, neighborhood matchmaking enthusiasm, accidental reunions at the wrong moment. Janina Hartwig as Julia – a woman who has decided that something must come after marriage. Especially known as Sister Hanna in "Um Himmels Willen" (2006–2021), trusted by millions. Already a guest multiple times at the Stadthalle Singen.
Caroline Beil as Julia’s fellow sufferer in the dating jungle – actress, singer, TV presenter. Has been on stage since she was six years old, touring multiple times with the Touring Theater Thespiskarren.
Dieter Landuris as Thomas – the man who must learn that dating apps have their own grammar. One of the distinctive faces of German film and television, with the right sense for Quilter’s laconic style.
