Theater Pralka will show a new play in 2026, "Othello. Therapy." Men and women simply do not get along, as Desdemona, Emilia, and Bianca—Othello's strangled wife, Jago's stabbed victim, and Cassio's ex—have painfully experienced firsthand. Not only in self-esteem are they damaged, but they are also sitting a few hundred years later at a bowling alley. They had actually sworn to avoid the topic of men altogether. But of course, they then talk almost manically about nothing else than their failed past relationships and the possibilities of new love. Old wounds reopen, leading to spitefulness and jealousy, especially when Lodovico, the rich, highly sought-after handsome man, appears in between. For a brief moment, a rivalry threatens, then the three reconcile again. They each devise their very personal Othello therapy, craving a different life and already feeling close to happiness in their imagination—until courage leaves them.
