Filus Wundersame Farben – a Chameleon Loses Its Colors

Description

Andrea Seehafer tells her about Leila Merkofer's lovingly illustrated picture book. The story is about friendship, farewell, sadness, helping each other, and being there for one another. The swallow Oskar spends the winter in Africa and meets Filu, the cheerful and colorful chameleon. The two become close friends. When Oskar flies back to Europe in spring, Filu is inconsolable. He loses all his colors and sits sadly on his tree. Will his friends from the steppe manage to cheer him up again? After the reading, illustrator Leila Merkofer draws funny "double animals" on the tablet – children guess what kind of fantasy animal is created and give it a suitable name. Finally, each child can make their own chameleon and take it home.
