3rd additional concert due to high demand After his first solo program "Faszination Allgäu," comedian Maxi Schafroth continues his bizarre observational journey seamlessly. "Faszination Bayern" is the second milestone in his long-planned comedy trilogy. Schafroth's idea for it reportedly came at the age of seven when he touched an electric fence in Gumpratsried near Eggisried. "That was consciousness-expanding!" says Schafroth, who also received solid comedy training during his apprenticeship as a bank clerk with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In "Faszination Bayern," the journey takes us out of the structurally weak Allgäu region, over the Lech River, to the blessed university city of Munich. There, Maxi Schafroth encounters Starnberger dentist children in SUVs, Munich bourgeoisie in mustard-yellow corduroy pants, and trendy couple scenes with wooden-look glasses. From BayWa Ottobeuren to the Manufactum rubber boot shelf at Marienhof in Munich, Maxi Schafroth brings us closer to the versatility of the largest federal state and advocates for tolerance and coexistence as a nationally active cultural coach. Using well-founded historical evidence, he raises awareness of Bavarian history and explains about the first Bavarian settler and ancestor "Eusebius the Invertebrate" from the 9th century and his 40-strong peasant army, the "Frusthaufen," which had advanced on foot as far as Damascus in the so-called "Hedgehog Formation." On his renovated ancestral farm, Maxi Schafroth provides solutions for the problems of burned-out high performers.
The resocialization center for ex-banker dropouts and the glacier hut seminar "Letting Go!" for stressed "Helicoptering Parents" earned him a nomination as "Entrepreneur of the Year" in his hometown of Stephansried and catapulted him overnight to second place on Wikipedia among the most prominent people of the 78-inhabitant village, right after miracle healer Sebastian Kneipp. Maximilian Schafroth spared no effort or risk in developing his new program.
He found himself in quite precarious situations, including several years of corporate espionage at a major bank, a three-day internship at a Schwabing daycare, and participation in the seminar Breathing Therapy for Executives.
From this biographical crossover, Maxi Schafroth creates stunning comedy, always underpinned by the squeaky charm of his Allgäu accent. He is also accompanied in "Faszination Bayern" by heart and mind, and above all, by his genial guitarist and neighbor Markus Schalk.
