Description
All the finesse of Marcel Pagnol in an emotionally intense play..
For over two decades, Jean-Claude Baudracco and his talented actors have been bringing Marcel Pagnol's entire work back to life. After, among others, Marius, The Well-Digger's Daughter, and Manon of the Springs, they return this year with an unmissable masterpiece: Fanny, the second part of the trilogy Marius, Fanny, and César. Fanny is expecting a child from Marius, César's son, who has gone to sea, and finds herself in a dishonorable situation as a single mother, unable to secure her own future and that of her child. Her mother Honorine urges her to marry Panisse, a wealthy merchant 30 years her senior, to save the family's honor.
