Description

The exhibition opened in June 2000 on the occasion of Thomas Mann's 125th birthday (1875–1955) recalls the forty years the Mann family spent at Alte Landstrasse 39 in Kilchberg. From the poet's residence in 1954 until the death of his son Golo in 1994, the most important stages are traced. Photographs and original portraits, selected documents, and some memorabilia provide insight into the life and work of this extraordinary family.
