Description
At the foot of the Jura, on favorable limestone soils, the truffle quietly thrives in Switzerland, both in the wild and in truffle orchards. Accompanied by the Siffert family, pioneers of truffle cultivation, you discover the subtle connections between the tree and the mushroom, the role of nature, and the patient work of the truffle hunter. The visit continues with a demonstration of truffle hunting, where the truffle dog reveals buried treasures, before concluding with a convivial moment around the truffle and wood-fired cooking.
* For groups of 8 or more, organized visits upon request and on chosen dates, you can contact the Siffert family directly: info@sauvageraie.ch * Equipment: Good shoes, weather-appropriate clothing. Note: Dogs, even on a leash, are not accepted. * The development of the truffle largely depends on natural and weather conditions. * In case of a truffle shortage and to maintain the quality of the experience, organizers reserve the right to cancel the walk. * Participants: minimum 6 people, the visit may be postponed or canceled if there are not enough participants. Registration and online payment required at least 72 hours before the walk. * The visit is maintained even in bad weather. Bring good shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
